We have been thinking about what a perfect lawn mower should look like. To achieve this, our R&D team of eight spent 13 months testing 28 product designs and went through 29 failures! For 11 months, we tested 20 lawn mowers continuously for 12 hours a day, precisely controlling the mower to achieve zero failure rate, far surpassing industry standards.
During this period, we focused on solving nearly a hundred key issues in the lawn mower industry, specifically including:
1) Body materials: 99% of manufacturers use low-strength, low-cost Q235 steel, which is not strong enough. Long-term use leads to warping, cracking of the body, and severe wear resistance issues.
2) Cutting system: Industry competitors connect the engine rigidly to the blade. If the mower hits hard objects like stones, the blade can break, and the engine torque cannot be released, transferring stress to the engine crankshaft, leading to misalignment and irreversible engine damage.
3) Controller: Due to product quality issues, high temperatures, and prolonged use, the controller is prone to burnout.
4) Alternator: Using substandard enameled wire and regulators causes unstable power output over time, eventually burning out the alternator and electrical components.
5) Mower deck lifting mechanism: Poor design and large gaps cause severe vibration, which can loosen screws, drop fasteners, and deform the machine.
6) Drive system: Using pulleys that do not match engine shaft specifications leads to excessive gaps, rapid wear, and eventually unusable key slots. Gearbox output shafts made of inferior materials and with improper design can break.
7) Linear actuator control system: Using cheap integrated boards that do not meet design principles causes frequent overheating and burnout.
8) Overall machine structure: Poor design leads to unstable center of gravity and track detachment, among other problems.
Currently, all improvements have passed testing and validation, and the product has been formally and safely launched on the market.
